Artique Apartments

Project Outline:

Location: Enderley Avenue, Surfers Paradise Typology: Unit Renovation Client: Private Year: 2024

With these projects, Austrada was tasked with refreshing well utilized rental units at a premium resort on the Gold Coast. With little room for adjustment, we were tasked with updating the unit without changing the footprint. Essentially the challenge of the project was to refresh the spaces and make them feel “new” through careful design of joinery, specification of modern materials, and upgrades to existing elements where possible to bring new life into these spaces.

Austrada was tasked with refreshing 2 separate units owned by the client at the same time, both of which had completely different layouts and colour themes that the client had advised they wished to implement. We carefully prepared large colour selections for both units that comprised of tiles, feature walls, fixtures, appliances, handles and several other elements making up 2 separate palettes. Ultimately, it was decided to go for a coastal feel for one unit, and a modern-industrial for the other. This was then complement with custom joinery designed by Austrada that utilized timber and dark or light finishes to complement these other selections. In the end, all surfaces within both apartments were refreshed through new tiles, paint, battened feature walls, modern joinery, mirrors and fixtures.

The result were two units well received by the Client and Body Corporate that are now available for booking at the Artique Resort. We hope to do more work there in the near future!
